  Custom
Plastic Forming has four sheet-fed machines available for its custom production
with additional "specialized" machines available if necessary. We
have even been known to build equipment for unique requirements...if it
makes sound financial sense for our customers and us.
In general, our capabilities for station molding (which includes both thermoforming and pressure forming operations) is up to 3/8" thick material in sheets as large as 6 feet x 10 feet. But these are just rough guidelines. There is much more to consider including the "draw" (or depth) of the part, the composition of the plastic being used and many other factors. CPF's ability to make many molds in house (for wood and "constructed" molds), as well as patterns for aluminum molds, gives us much more control over production schedules. Rapid prototypes can often be realized in one week, with full part production is four to six weeks.  |
